Attention Vons / Pavilions, Albertson’s, or Ralph’s / Food-4-Less shoppers!
All three of the local major supermarket chains have converted to electronic
scrip rebate programs. All you need to do is register Blessed Kateri to receive
a contribution from these markets. Every time you use your supermarket card, the
market chain will make a contribution to our parish. This cost you nothing. The
market makes the contribution.
Each market chain has separate program and way to signup:
Vons Market (and Pavilions) contribute via the E-SCRIP program. Parishioners can
sign up on-line at
http://www.escrip.com . Other smaller retailers are also signed up with
E-SCRIP. So if you also register your debit card, Visa, MC, AMEX, etc, and then
use one of these at PayLess Shoes, or Eddie Bauer, for example, our Church can
receive up to 15% of your purchases.
Vons requires that you re-register every year between September 1 and November 1
in order to continue to earn contributions from Safeway, Vons, or Pavilions.

Each year between Aug. 1 and Sept. 1, all Ralphs Club Card holders need to
re-register with the Ralphs Contribution program as described below. Five
minutes of your time can mean hundreds of dollars for our Building Fund. If
you’re not currently registered in this program, this is a great time to join.
It costs you nothing.
1. Go to http://www.ralphs.com
2. On the left side, click on “Community Contribution”
3. Under “PARTICIPANT”, click on “SIGN UP”
4. Read agreement and click on “I Agree”
5. Fill in all the information that is in BOLD.
The NPO Number for Blessed Kateri is 83843
The card number is located on the back of your Ralphs card under the bar code.
If you don’t have your Ralph’s card, call (800-660-9003) to get the card number.
6. Click “SUMBIT”
7. Repeat steps 2-6 for any additional Ralphs cards in your household.
Albertson's has its own contribution program called COMMUNITY PARTNERS.
1. Go to
https://www.albertsons.com and enter your zipcode.
2. On the blue bar, click on “In the Community”.
3. On the right side, click on the Community Partners box.
4. Click on “Shoppers login or register with your Preferred Savings card first”.
5. Enter your card number and phone number that you used when you signed up for
your card.
6. Follow the rest of the instructions on the website.

We hope to have some gift cards available for Christmas for local retailers. The
merchants will vary, but we plan to have a few restaurants, bookstores, home
improvement and video stores as well as Whole Foods market. The church makes
from 2-15% on the sale of these cards. They make great gifts or just use them
your self instead of cash at these retailers. Watch the bulletin for more
information.

A Little Background is in order...
Before there was a Blessed Kateri parish, back when we were St. Clare Mission,
attending Mass at Arroyo Seco Jr. High, way back then, we had profitable scrip
program. So profitable, in fact, that when we moved into our new building on
Copper Hill, all the chairs had been bought and paid for with scrip profits!!
Over the years we have continued to earn money for the church. We have primarily
helped with the huge mortgage payments, but have also been able to buy computers
for the office and RE, and donate some operating capital to the Youth Group. Our
scrip program continues to be a source of income for our parish community.
