June 13, 2007 Dear Parishioners and friends of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, The foundation work is in full progress. Shortly we will are ready to for the first placement of Concrete. In a couple of weeks you will see the first pieces of steel being erected. Utilities are being installed in the basement area. In the last couple of weeks the following are the tasks that have been completed or are in progress: • Installation of shoring piles for Administrative Building. • Re-compaction for the basements. • Finish grading at the basements. • Start of footings for walls and pads. For the next coming weeks the following will be started. • Underground utility installations at the basements. • Complete excavation for wall and pad footings. • Install rebar for wall and pad footings. • Place concrete for grade beams and footings. • Erect basement steel columns. • Start placement of Structural Masonry. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me directly. Many parishioners are assisting with advice and comments and we encourage your involvement. Some off site tasks are getting ready to start such as Steel Fabrication.
